Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Civic Center EATS, which returns to Civic Center Park on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays May 19th to October 8th.
Civic Center EATS and its participating vendors play an important role in helping the Civic Center Conservancy activate and revitalize Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park – designated as Denver’s first National Historic Landmark in October 2012. Thousands of people who would not otherwise be in the park now have a reason to visit Civic Center throughout the warm weather months – increasing both the vibrancy of the park and community engagement in its future. Proceeds from the event support the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Civic Center Conservancy’s efforts, including free public programming aimed at elevating and sustaining this historic urban oasis as a vibrant and iconic cultural and community hub.
How It Works
This year we are using an online Typeform application. A brief outline of the multi-step process follows, but please be sure to read the detailed instructions in the application, along with the cover letter (see below). Please note we will not be accepting paper applications; you must submit your application online. Additionally, there is a $25 fee to cover processing costs, payable at the end of the application.
Applying to Civic Center EATS in 2020 is a 3-step process. You must complete all 3 steps prior to the
February 28th deadline to have your application considered.

Creating a more environmentally responsible food event
The Civic Center Conservancy is committed to sustainable practices in Civic Center Park - the historic space we work every day to preserve. That's why in 2019, we launched the Civic Center EATS Zero Waste Program - requiring all of our vendors to use only compostable and recyclable serving items. We saved 40 tons of waste from landfills!
All vendors accepted into Civic Center EATS 2020 will be required to sign our Zero Waste Pledge.
If you don't already use the items we require, don't worry!
We have the resources to help make this a smooth transition.
While the Civic Center Conservancy is focused on revitalizing a vital public asset, we receive no public funding. Our efforts to restore, enhance, and activate Civic Center Park would not be possible without the support and partnership of generous individuals, companies and foundations.
The Conservancy is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization registered with the IRS; your gift is deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent of the law.
