Class Cancellation Update
In Response to COVID-19
On Monday, March 16th, Mayor Michael B. Hancock cancelled public events at numerous Denver venues until May 11th, as an extension to the City's Public Health Order regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. These cancellations include events at the McNichols Civic Center Building; as such, all Civic Center MOVES classes are cancelled.
We at the Civic Center Conservancy, like so many other organizations in Denver, are closely monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19. The health of our MOVES instructors and participants is our top priority as we consider how this situation may impact our programs in Civic Center Park. As we approach the outdoor season of MOVES after May 11th, we will continue to follow the orders and recommendations set forth by the City and County of Denver and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Please follow us on Facebook for updates.
Thank you for your continued support and please take good care during this time. Do not hesitate to reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns by emailing Amanda Johnson.
The Civic Center Conservancy Staff
Civic Center MOVES' nonprofit producer, the Civic Center Conservancy, is able to provide year-round classes free of charge due to the support of local partners and generosity of donors. The program's ability to sustain and grow relies on these funding sources.
We welcome your support.
